Privacy policy

What information I process about you, why, who helps me with it, and what rights you have.

Who is responsible

Koed Ventures ApS is the data controller for the information described here.

Koed Ventures ApS
CVR 45143880
Rislundvej 3, 8240 Risskov, Denmark

Questions about your information go to Rasmus Koed Badre-Esfahani at rasmus@koedventures.dk or +45 53 85 38 99.

When you visit koedventures.dk

The site uses no cookies and no analytics. It stores nothing on your device and loads nothing from anyone else.

The site is hosted by Cloudflare. When you open a page, Cloudflare processes your IP address and technical information about your browser in order to deliver the page and protect the site against attacks. I have not turned on logging. I can see overall traffic figures, but not who visited the site.

When you write or call

I process what you give me: name, email address, phone number, company and the content of your message. The purpose is to reply and, if we enter into an agreement, to deliver the work.

The legal basis is that we have or are considering an agreement (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR) and my legitimate interest in conducting my correspondence (Article 6(1)(f)).

Clients and partners

For contact persons at clients and partners I process name, title, work email, phone number and what we write and agree. The legal basis is my legitimate interest in working with you on the agreement with your employer (Article 6(1)(f)). I keep invoices and other accounting records because the Danish Bookkeeping Act requires it (Article 6(1)(c)).

Meetings

Online meetings may be recorded and transcribed with Fellow so that I have an accurate record. Fellow joins the meeting visibly and announces that it is being recorded. If you do not want to be recorded, say so and I will turn it off. The legal basis is my legitimate interest in an accurate record (Article 6(1)(f)).

Who helps me

These providers process information on my behalf as data processors:

  • Google Workspace: email
  • Cloudflare: koedventures.dk
  • Dinero: bookkeeping and invoicing
  • OpenAI, ChatGPT Business: writing and analysis tool. The content is not used to train OpenAI's models.
  • Fellow: recording and notes from meetings

I also use Claude from Anthropic as a writing tool, on a personal subscription. Anthropic's own terms apply there, and Anthropic is an independent controller of what is processed. I have turned off the use of content to train Anthropic's models, and I put as little personal information into Claude as possible.

Transfers outside the EU

Several of the providers are based or have servers outside the EU and EEA, including in the United States. Transfers are based on the European Commission's adequacy decisions, including the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, or the Commission's standard contractual clauses.

How long

  • Emails, notes, meeting records and contact details: 2 years after our last contact or the end of our work together.
  • Invoices and accounting records: 5 years from the end of the financial year, as the Danish Bookkeeping Act requires.

Your rights

You have the right to know what information I hold about you and to have it corrected or deleted. You can also object to the processing, ask for it to be restricted and receive your information in a common format. Write to rasmus@koedventures.dk.

If you are unhappy with how I process your information, you can complain to the Danish Data Protection Agency at datatilsynet.dk.
